Blake Bell’s Return As Tight-End This Fall Has The Sooner Nation Primed!

The Sooner Nation was thrilled when Blake Bell announced he was staying at OU – The senior’s announcement that he would move to tight-end and use his knowledge of the offense to try and help the team was well received and regarded.  This unselfishness has become a trademark for a player that always held the University of Oklahoma as his dream school.  Many remember his big plays last year during the Bedlam game that cemented Blake’s place in Sooner lore.   It will be interesting to see how his transition to tight-end plays out next fall, but early reports from spring practice seem to be promising, as Coach Stoops has commented several times so far this spring on his abilities and potential.

If that potential shows up on the field this fall as ability, the already loaded Sooner squad will be just that much stronger.  This would be a great story for Blake Bell and the Sooners as they are already being picked to win the Big12 and a early choice for many to play in the inaugural national championship playoff.   What do you think about Blake Bell’s move to tight-end and his teamwork and dedication?
