OU Baseball Comes Up Just Short In Big 12 Championship Game
From the outset, it did not look like it was going to be the Sooners day. OU starter Damien Magnifico had trouble finding the plate early and lasted just one third of inning allowing four runs (two earned) putting the Sooners in a big hole. Dillon Overton, on just three days rest, came in and settled things down as the Sooners began to chip away at Missouri’s lead.

Oklahoma Headed To Seventh WCWS
No. 4 Oklahoma punched a ticket to its seventh Women’s College World Series with a 7-1 win over Arizona Saturday in its second consecutive NCAA Super Regional sweep of the Wildcats. Oklahoma will open play at the WCWS Thursday against the winner of the Hofstra-South Florida Super Regional. The NCAA is expected to name game times for Thursday on Sunday evening.

Coach Kruger’s Efforts Pay Off For Oklahoma Sooner Basketball
It is no secret that fan support was severely lacking in the 2011-2012 season of what has become Oklahoma Sooner Basketball. While the team performed well early on, the fan base never reciprocated by attending games. Ploys have been thrown out there as an attempt to bring in students. Free food always does the trick with college kids but is unable to hold the crowd once the food disappears. There is some good news heading into the 2012-2013 season that could make this Sooner team proud to put on the jersey and represent a university with much thanks going to none other than Kruger himself.
